Moving on

heather1

When working weeks are over

The hills and valleys draw us

To expel the depleted angst

And fire it into the clear air

There glinting in the light

We wind up this moving target

Striking it dead

Sorting our head

To drink in the glowing heather

Rebuilding the reality

Forming the fragile future

Supporting us when we must return

Remembering to be free
