Steady at rest, the voice leads me
It takes me upwards to a bridge
in hills high above a river
I cross the bridge, going higher
Looking back I see the river
it goes one side to the other
and disappears below the rocks
I go higher still to a peak
There at the top, I look down on
three thousand scary feet below
I say my mantra, all is well
I am now confident and can
handle it now; every day
I rest and come out of it
In every way, I’m getting
better and better
Now awake.
