Carry on

It was years ago

When I missed messages

Coming from your faceless voice

It was a fine line across melting ice

Stopping me on the edge of temptation

Pulling me to an unforeseen future

Where new life began

Where the chains were broken

Where I became one again

This life became the reality

To carry on, smiling in the sun
